Sports in Bulgaria Foundation announced long-term support for Nurgül Salimova
The Sport in Bulgaria Foundation, which actively supports young sports talents as well as amateur sports, has announced long-term support for our talented chess player Nurgül Salimova, who came second at the Women’s Chess World Cup in Baku.
“Nurgyul Salimova is an exceptional person. She is proof that with hard work, perseverance and discipline everything is possible. It is a privilege for us to stand behind her and show our admiration for her talent by providing her with long-term support in preparation for future competitions,” said patron and entrepreneur Milo Borisov, one of the founders of the Foundation.
The mission of the Sports in Bulgaria Foundation is to provide opportunities for Bulgarian athletes to develop their talent and achieve success for the national tricolour. The organization also supports the implementation of grassroots sports projects that promote an active lifestyle and help adolescents build a sports culture.
The announcement comes after the two founders of the Foundation, Milo Borisov and Rossi McKee, gave the gifted chess player a bonus of BGN 10 000 for her good performance.
