The Foundation supports the State Chess Championship
Sport in Bulgaria Foundation supports the State Chess Championship for men and women, which will start on August 3rd in Sofia. The competition, which will last a total of eight days at the Black & White Club, part of the Palms Royale Sofia complex, is expected to bring together some of the most prominent national competitors.
The prize fund of 25,000 leva will be distributed among the winners. It is provided by partners of the Bulgarian Chess Federation 2022, among which is the Foundation. The battles for the honours will be streamed live online, which will increase attention to the event.
The Bulgarian Chess Federation 2022 is once again implementing the most prestigious part of the state sports calendar at the level the competitors deserve. The successful cooperation with our partners gives us confidence to work for the prosperity of Bulgarian chess, said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Veneta Petkova, President of the Federation.
