“We are proud that Sports Club Borba – Levski is the club with the greatest international contribution. Over the years we have won many awards from Olympic Games, World, and European Championships,” said Stefan Toshev, coach at the sports club Borba – Levski this Saturday in the program “Sport in BG”.
Coach in the wrestling club in Bulgaria with the most international successes, Stefan Toshev, was a guest on the latest episode of the BG Radio show “Sport in BG”, sharing the club’s plans for the current year 2024.
One of the main projects of the sports club Borba – Levski is to improve the conditions for training. The facilities of the club have undergone many changes in the last few years. Two of the halls have been completely renovated, and this year their third hall is under renovation. This will allow a total of 200 children to train daily on 12 completely new mats. The hope of the club is to attract more young talents with the better conditions and soon the number of children training will reach 400-500.
“We are very grateful that we will cooperate with Sport in Bulgaria Foundation. Thanks to our partnership, we will be able to purchase a bus that is much needed for our travel needs. We will be able to be more mobile for the competitions we take part in. I can say that the Sport in Bulgaria Foundation is fulfilling a dream of ours to make our everyday lives easier,” added Coach Toshev.
Sport in Bulgaria Foundation aims to support sport in the country by working in several key areas. It aims to support professional clubs and athletes, children, and youth schools, as well as to help develop grassroots sport and encourage physical activity among young people.
