Sport in Bulgaria Foundation gives 10,000 BGN bonus to Nurgül Salimova
Sport in Bulgaria Foundation gives a bonus to the talented chess player Nurgül Salimova, who played brilliantly in the final during the World Cup in Baku. The cash prize of BGN 10,000 is transferred on the personal initiative of entrepreneurs and patrons Milo Borisov and Rossi McKee, who are the founders of the foundation.
“In this way we pay our respects to the worthy performance of the young Bulgarian chess hope and to her coach. Talents like Nurgül allow the adolescents to find their role model and motivate them to engage in sport in all its forms,” said Milo Borisov.
The Sport in Bulgaria Foundation was established for public benefit and the funds raised are intended to support sports clubs, individual professional athletes as well as amateur sports.
“One of our main goals is to help talented athletes develop their potential. The Foundation will continue to support Nurgyul on her journey to new sporting heights because nurturing young Bulgarian athletes is the foundation on which success is built,” added Rossi McKee. Along with the prize money, Nurgyul and her coach Zhivko Zhekov also received special plaques from the Foundation.
