Rossi McKee, co-founder of the Sports in Bulgaria Foundation, paid tribute to Apostle of Freedom Vasil Levski today during a commemorative ceremony at the National Sports Academy Vasil Levski.

On the 152nd anniversary of Levski’s hanging, a special program was organized in the Rector’s courtyard by children from Sofia kindergartens, who sang songs and recited poems dedicated to the Deacon. Immediately after the performances, Ms. McKee and all the other attendees, including faculty and students, placed flowers and wreaths on the monument.
