Four medals for Bulgaria from Grand Prix Marbella 2024
Another successful weekend for Bulgarian rhythmic gymnastics during the Grand Prix tournament in Marbella, Spain. Many of the contenders for honours at the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris kicked off the 2024 season, with Bulgaria represented by Stiliyana Nikolova and Eva Brezalieva.
Stiliyana Nikolova came home from Spain with three gold medals. After a gold in the all-around, she added two more gold medals in the finals of the clubs and ribbon. Valentina Ivanova’s pupil also recorded two sixth places in the hoop and shot put finals. Our other representative Eva Brezalieva also had a very successful start of the season and deservedly won the bronze in the finals of the clubs. Our grace finished seventh in the all-around yesterday and then recorded a fourth place in the shot put final and a seventh place in the hoop.
This week the girls are preparing for the International Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament in Faliro, Greece, which starts on March 13.
