The Sport in Bulgaria Foundation has officially renewed its partnership with the Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation at a special event held at Club Black & White, part of Palms Royale Sofia. During the event, a new support agreement for the national team was signed. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Federation, coaching staff, and national team gymnasts, including Iliana Raeva, President of the Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation.
At the signing, Rossi McKee, founder of Sport in Bulgaria Foundation, emphasized that long-term support is essential for the development of talent and future success in Bulgarian sports.
“It is a great pleasure for me to be here today and to express my sincere support for all of you—athletes, coaches, and everyone who contributes to the success of Bulgarian rhythmic gymnastics.
This sport has always been a symbol of grace, elegance, and incredible discipline. Bulgarian gymnasts continue to prove that with talent, hard work, and dedication, they can reach the pinnacle of world success. You not only bring prestige to our country but also inspire thousands of young girls to dream big and believe in the power of their efforts,” said Rossi McKee.
Iliana Raeva, in turn, highlighted the importance of strong partnerships in the development of the sport and the provision of necessary conditions for the athletes’ preparation.
“The Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation extends its heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional support and dedication to our sport throughout the last Olympic cycle.
During this period, we achieved remarkable success, thanks to your financial and moral support. The most significant achievement was Boriana Kaleyn’s silver Olympic medal at the Paris 2024 Games.
We have won numerous World and European titles, medals from World and European Cups, and international tournaments,” said Iliana Raeva.
With the signing of this new agreement, the foundation continues its long-term commitment to supporting the ensemble, individual gymnasts, and coaching staff in their preparation for upcoming international competitions.
This year, support will continue for coaches Vesela Dimitrova and Branimira Markova, with Valentina Ivanova also joining the program.
Among the individual gymnasts, Stiliyana Nikolova and Eva Brezalieva will once again receive support as they represent Bulgaria in top-tier international competitions.
The newly formed ensemble team will have the opportunity to establish itself among the world’s elite, and the foundation’s support aims to provide the necessary conditions for high-quality preparation and successful performances on the global stage.
The gymnasts are currently focused on their training as they prepare for their first public performance of their new routines on February 15.
