LALIGA Football Seminar – оne of the most significant events for Bulgarian football in 2024 takes place today in Sofia.

An event attended by speakers from Spanish football clubs, ready to pass on their knowledge to our club executives. The event is once again organised by Palms Bet and the Sport in Bulgaria Foundation.

Representatives of Hetafe, Sevilla and LALIGA are speakers at the event, while delegations from Bulgarian football teams are among the main guests. The hosts of the event are football commentators Pavel Kolev and Georgi Georgiev, who opened the event and gave the floor to Milo Borisov and Rossi McKee, who welcomed the guests.

“We know that Bulgarian clubs face challenges that their Spanish counterparts have dealt with some time ago. That’s why we invited our partners from LALIGA, so that the clubs from our country can share ideas, make connections and help each other”, commented the founder of the foundation – Rossi McKee.

“It is a huge surprise to me how many supporters of Spanish football there are in your country. I am sure that the guests from Sevilla and Hetafe will be very useful for your clubs and I can’t wait to get started”, commented Mrs. Hayone Sereijo, representative of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain in Bulgaria.

“We have to understand that in 2013 the financial situation in Spanish clubs was very bad. We took measures and I am yet to show you how we improved. We created a new economic control system in the 2013/14 season and now we can see the results. Ten years later, the total debt of Spanish clubs has been reduced by more than 600 million euros,” said Angel Bas on the financial development of the Spanish Championship.

The LALIGA Football Seminar will continue throughout the day, with various presentations by the experts from the Spanish Grands.
