At the beginning of 2024, the Sport in Bulgaria Foundation announced its support for the Septemvri 97 basketball club in Sofia, which is part of the organization’s policy to help develop sport in the country, as well as to educate sports culture.
“There are exceptional people in this foundation. People who are relevant to the problems in sport. I am very happy that we came into their sight, and they gave us a hand improving in all aspects our work with children. The funds we receive from the Ministry of Sport are small and thanks to organizations like the Sport in Bulgaria Foundation, basketball clubs can exist in our country,” Borislava Mandur further said.
Sport in Bulgaria Foundation aims to support sport in the country by working in several key areas. It aims to support professional clubs and athletes, children, and youth schools, as well as to help develop grassroots sport and encourage physical activity among young people.
