The Bulgarian, who made his dream come true, thanks to the help of Sport in Bulgaria Foundation, made a real feat in the Pacific Ocean, as the conditions were more than difficult throughout the swim.<\/p><p>The strong currents and water temperature of 12.7 degrees brought several hypothermic crises to the competitor , but Tsanko swam to the end and achieved the fastest time for 2024 of all swimmers &#8211; 6 hours and 23 minutes.<\/p><p>The distance on the lead boat was 30.5 kilometers from Perano Bay on the South Island to Terrafitti Coast on the North Island.<\/p><p>Tsankov could have finished much faster , but strong currents 3500 meters before the end forced him to deviate from the route. In the end everything ended successfully and safely for the Bulgarian team.<\/p><p>Tsanko Tsankov&#8217;s achievement is his third in the Ocean seven circuit of the WOWSA World Federation.<\/p><p>Immediately after the end of the swim, the two New Zealand judges who were on the boat considered the marathon successful!
